Suffering from Knee pains?

Here are some of the reasons for knee pains according to ayurveda and Do's and Don'ts along with Panchakarma and medications.







Say bye to those crisp, cracking sound and intense pain in knees which bother you in  rainy season, through Ayurveda.
 
In rainy season joint pain is the most common problem due to aggravated “vata”. In this season due to vata prokopa (disturbance) Jhatharagni (digestive fire) weakens. Because of agitated “vayu tatva” body becomes dry and weak. So joints also become dry, weak and painful.

Some Don’t and Do’s given below to avoid pains –

Don’ts –

  1. Should not sleep in day time
  2. Should not have more of liquid diet
  3. Should avoid more physical exercise, more walking
  4. Should avoid any kind of stress

Do’s –
1)      Should live in warm, heated houses
2)      Should have sweets, acids and sour tastes of hot food mix with ghee, oils
3)      Should keep oneself neat to avoid infection diseases
4)      Should drink warm water
5)      Should meditate for the peaceful mind

Medications –

Certain type of Gugglus, Asava, Arishtam, Ghritas, some stress reliever, Agni Pradipak (like ginger) is good to take in medication

Panchakarma ---

Oils are the best medicine for aggravated vata conditions
So, have Abhyangas, fomentations, vastis.
For knee pains Jaanu vasti is advisable
